A few showers and thunderstorms during the nite. Tuesday, variable weather and cooler with some showers, especially in the mountains. Wednesday, a return to largely sunny and mild weather. Second half of the week could be sunny and increasingly hot by the weekend with maximum temperatures around or even exceeding 30 degrees in the plains.
