This Whit Monday, fine weather with a few harmless cumulus clouds over the higher ground. Cool temperatures at dawn, then moderate heat during the day. Temperatures forecast for the Rhône plain: lows 7 to 12°C, highs 23 to 26°C. At stations around 1500m: lows 3° to 6°, highs 18° to 21°. On the summits: 4/18° at 2000m, 0/6° at 3000m. Isotherm of 0°: 3800 m. Moderate breeze during the day on the Rhône plain (gusts around 50 km/h). Noticeable easterly wind in the high mountains.

Tuesday and Wednesday, fine weather. Relatively cool at dawn, then summery heat in the afternoon: 26 to 29 degrees on the plains and 23 to 24 degrees around 1500m. Thursday to Saturday will be sunny and very hot, with tropical temperatures on the Rhône plain and close to 25 degrees at altitudes of 1500 metres. A few night-time thunderstorms possible, especially in the mountains, from Friday evening. On Sunday, more active thunderstorms possible with the passage of a disturbance (to be confirmed). Temperatures falling slightly: 27 to 29 degrees.
