Next few days in Valais
Sunday will be another generally sunny day, despite some scattered cirrus clouds or haze at times, which will have no impact on conditions. Very summery temperatures ranging from 27 to 30 degrees in the lowlands and 21 to 24 degrees at around 1,000 meters.
Monday will bring continued high-pressure conditions and plenty of sunshine across all regions. Rare high-altitude haze and the development of small, harmless cumulus clouds over the mountains. Summer-like temperatures but with slight fluctuations compared to the weekend, with highs of 26 to 28 degrees in the lowlands and 20 to 22 degrees at around 1,000 meters, accompanied by a light to moderate breeze.
On Tuesday, conditions will be very similar, with plenty of sunshine all day and a few scattered high-altitude clouds or small daytime cumulus clouds in the mountains. Temperatures will rise again, reaching 28 to 30 degrees in the plains and 23 to 25 degrees in the mountains at around 1,000 meters. Expect a light Bise wind and/or mountain breezes.
Starting Wednesday, conditions will become very hot and could persist. Blazing sunshine all day, with rare cumulus clouds in the mountains. Temperatures exceeding 30 to 32 degrees in the lowlands.
On Thursday and Friday, the weather will remain sunny with intense heat that feels a bit more oppressive. Highs will exceed 31 to 33 degrees at lower elevations. Isolated heat thunderstorms are possible in the Alps in the afternoon.
The weekend is a bit more uncertain but could still be very hot or even scorching, with temperatures above 30 degrees. The air will feel heavy, with a few possible thunderstorms, but no widespread deterioration is expected for the time being.
